fomo is an app for keeping track of the people you actually met. This policy explains what it collects, why, who else can see it, and how to get rid of it.

It is written to describe what the app really does. If something here stops being true, this page changes with it.

The short version

Everything fomo holds is there to give back to you: your journal, your connections, your moments. It is not an audience being packaged for anybody.

What fomo never does:

• Never sells your data. Not to anyone, at any price.
• Never hands it to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone buying audiences.
• Shows no ads, and carries no advertising identifier.
• Does not track you across other apps or websites.
• Does not use what you write to train AI models.
• Does not build a profile of you for anybody but you.

There is no analytics service and no advertising SDK in the app. Nothing you do in fomo is measured for anybody's dashboard.

The same summary is inside the app, under Profile → Account & privacy → Your data, so it can be read without leaving fomo or trusting that this page is still up.
